When I use nice to describe a person, I’m more focused on the personality. For places, things and jobs, nice is a synonym of good or great or the physical aspect of something.

Practice

  1. Describe yourself.

I am a very nice guy. I think I am attractive friendly. I am not too athletic but I try to stay in shape, I am brave but I am a bit lazy. I consider my self, also, a clever person, careful with the things I do and very creative. I am happy and helpful when I see people that need help. I think I am humble and lucky to have my family with me.

  2. Describe you city.

I live in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. It’s a dry and deserted place where rarely rains. Here is not calm, in fact, it’s the most dangerous city in Mexico. It’s not very crowded and most of the year is really hot. It looks like a horrible place, sometimes it is, but there is prosperity because there is a mine that gets tons of silver every day.

  3. Describe you job.

I work at a restaurant. I am a waiter. It’s a very good job, it is well-paid, I think I get paid better than most in many other paces I have known. I work there only on weekends and sometimes it is demanding because I have to work more than 8 hours, sometimes until past midnight. It is a easy job, not challenging but repetitive.
