We use indefinite pronouns to refer to people or things without saying exactly who or what they are. Pronouns ending in -body or -one refer to people, and pronouns ending in -thing refer to things.

For example:

• Everybody was excited to hear the news.
• I’m exhausted from cleaning everything.

We use a singular verb after an indefinite pronoun

We can add ‘s to an indefinite pronoun to make a possessive

Someone’s car was robbed.
